Talismán: Lauburu

The Lauburu is a Basque mythological symbol. Although it is common in many other cultures and was used by numerous peoples.

It is a variation of the swastika, it is a kind of swastika and can be seen on countless historical and religious monuments throughout the world. Its representation is so diverse and widespread that it is very difficult to determine its exact origin and birth.

Many ancient peoples worshipped the forces of nature such as the sun, the moon, air and water. For the Basque people there were two forces that dominated nature and conditioned the lives of its inhabitants: the sun and the moon. The Lauburu represents a sun in movement, as it was believed that the sun had the power against the influence of evil.
